Farmworkers

We help migrant, seasonal, and year-round farmworkers throughout the state.  Our goals are to ensure that farmworkers:

  • Receive all the wages they have earned
  • Are lawfully and fairly recruited with full disclosures from employers about wages and working conditions
  • Receive employer-provided housing that is safe, clean, and meets legal standards
  • Receive guaranteed worker rights, including for H-2A workers and U.S. co-workers

Most often, the Migrant Farmworker Project handles these types of cases:

  • Wage claims
  • Enforcement of state and federal migrant protection laws
  • Substandard housing
  • Health and safety in the workplace, including sexual harassment
  • Unemployment benefits claims

If you are a farmworker with a civil legal problem, contact our Farmworker project.

You may call the Farmworker Project Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at:

  • 855-947-2529 (toll free)
  • 920-279-7025 (accepts text messages and Whatsapp)
