Farmworkers

We help migrant, seasonal, and year-round farmworkers throughout the state. Our goals are to ensure that farmworkers:
- Receive all the wages they have earned
- Are lawfully and fairly recruited with full disclosures from employers about wages and working conditions
- Receive employer-provided housing that is safe, clean, and meets legal standards
- Receive guaranteed worker rights, including for H-2A workers and U.S. co-workers
Most often, the Migrant Farmworker Project handles these types of cases:
- Wage claims
- Enforcement of state and federal migrant protection laws
- Substandard housing
- Health and safety in the workplace, including sexual harassment
- Unemployment benefits claims
If you are a farmworker with a civil legal problem, contact our Farmworker project.
